Why the register shows a different code
The Estonian e-Business Register assigns the actual classification automatically, from the company's main source of revenue. So far that revenue has come from publishing through Google AdSense, so the company currently appears under code 60391, other content distribution activities.
This is a temporary classification, not a change of purpose. The purpose is the one described on these pages, and the hope is that this period is now over.
Business aim and current status
The business aim is to become a Qualified Trust Service Provider: the status that eIDAS reserves for providers who are independently audited and supervised to offer qualified trust services, such as qualified electronic signatures.
ALBeID does not hold that status today and does not present itself as holding it. Verified compliance and formal recognition are kept apart: nothing is called qualified, certified or accredited before that status has actually been obtained.
The founder
ALBeID was founded and is owned by Armando Vrushi, who became an Estonian e-Resident on 10 October 2023 and registered the company less than two months later.
For now the work is the founder's own. The belief behind it is shared by many people around the world, and the hope is that the work will one day belong to many.
Why Estonia
Estonia offers a legal home where a digital company can be founded, run and audited entirely online, in a country that built its public administration on electronic identity.
It is also a natural place for this work. Estonia shows every day that a state can run on digital identity and that citizens can trust it. ALBeID starts from the same European framework and asks one more question: can every citizen also verify it?
One company, three domains
The same site is served in three languages from three national domains. Each domain carries one language, and the content is the same.
